Tori Spelling Home from Hospital Following Post-Birth Complications

The reality star was taken to the hospital following the birth of her fourth child -- but now she's "on the road to recovery"

Tori Spelling couldn't have been happier after giving birth to her fourth child, Finn Davey, on Aug. 20. But, unfortunately, her time bonding at home with the baby was cut short when she was shuttled back into the hospital on Sept. 15 for emergency surgery due to complications from her c-section. Luckily, this story has a happy ending: Spelling has been released from the hospital and is now home safe.

The 39-year-old actress took to her ediTORIal website on Sept. 27 to update her fans on her condition and let them know she was home and healthy.

"Hi everyone -- I wanted to let you know that I am home from the hospital, on the road to recovery, and overjoyed to be back with my family. I am so thankful for all of your love and support these past couple of weeks. It has meant so much to me. I will be back to blogging tomorrow, so stay tuned!" she writes. "Love, Tori"

While the love of her fans is helping raise her spirits, it also doesn't hurt that her children are so freaking cute. Her husband, Dean McDermott, recorded a video of her son Liam talking about his responsibilities as a big brother, and Spelling said it made her day.

"This video of [Liam] talking about his new little brother melts my heart!" she tweeted from inside the hospital. Watch here:
