John Travolta and his family – wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu – leaned on each other and portrayed a united front during their first public appearance since the death of John and Kelly's 16-year-old son, Jett, nine months ago.
The Travoltas came out to support their new movie, Old Dogs, which stars all three of them and is Ella's film debut.
"I always appreciate the audience's love for me." John told the crowd, according to the Associated Press. "I hope they love Old Dogs as much as we do, because I've got my baby in it."
Kelly recently dropped out of speaking at Maria Shriver's Conference for Women, saying it was "too soon" for her to talk about her son's death.
