It will help to think of yourselves as business partners with a mutual best interest: a favorable outcome for your child. With that mindset, it's easier to work together. You can both want the same thing-a happy holiday for your child-but you may have different ways to express your goals.

Make it great: Promote your child's relationship with your ex by helping to pick out or make a holiday present.
