Try This at Home: 'Caviar' Nails from Cushnie et Ochs' Fall Runway

Here's how to give your next mani a kooky-cool vibe

It got a little Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous at last week's New York Fashion Week -- and we're not talking about the front row stars. At the Cushnie et Ochs show, celebrity nail technician Pattie Yankee and her Dashing Diva team created some champagne wishes and caviar (nail) dreams backstage.

Inspired by the clothes' Native American theme, and at the request of the line's designers, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, Yankee developed a nubbly, textured look using seed beads from the collection. Think of it as a luxe take on your fave Minnetonka Moccasins, and a great way to add a subtle punch to your dark-hued digits.

Want to try this funky manicure at home? Here's how:

Step 1: Apply two coats of Dashing Diva's Limo Service Polish ($8)

Step 2: Cover your nails with glue

Step 3: Dip nails into black seed beads (found at your local craft store)

Step 4: Sprinkle with black glitter

Step 5: Apply an activator spray to adhere (try Isabel-Cristina's Let's Go Spray Nail Glue Activator, $9.99 at Sally Beauty Supply)
