Totally Tubular: Cancellations, Complaints & Casting Calls

The CW has cancelled its first show as a new network. Effective immediately, it's  pulling its new drama Runaway after only three episodes. The show starred Donnie Wahlberg as a man who takes his family on the run after being wrongfully accused of murder. Runaway is only the second show to get the boot this season, speaking of boots are they in or out this year? Anyway, I digress, CBS cancelled Smith earlier this year. James Denton  complained earlier this week that ABC toned down an upcoming Desperate Housewives sex scene between him and Nicollette Sheridan. Apparently a lot of scene ended up on the cutting room floor because ABC thought it was too damn steamy. Denton explained. "I asked them why they had to cut. I mean, we didn't do anything that crazy. They said, "Well, she flipped her hair and the look on her face was just too hot." I don't think she's hot, James, I think you're too hot! Some of the original members of the cast of Lost are  green with jealousy due to the growing number of cast members this season thanks to "The Others." Those damn others just like to stir up trouble. I guess the writers are so busy writing for the others that cast members like Matthew Fox and Yunjin Kim are pissed about their lack of screen time. Don't they know absence makes the heart grow fonder? Calling all you Grease fans. NBC is casting for a new reality show that is searching for the the new romantic couple Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko from the legendary high school musical. The winners will get a chance to star in the new Broadway production of Grease which will debut in June 2007. Get all the audition details here to find out if you're the "one that they want, one that they want ooh, ooh, ooh."
