Graphic 'Breaking Dawn' Birth Scene Will Be Just as Intense Onscreen

A screenwriter for the fourth Twilight film says the the birth of the vampire baby will be "pretty intense"

Twilight fans know that the scene where Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan gives birth to a vampire baby is one of the most graphic, violent parts of the series. And if reading about the birth in Breaking Dawn grossed you out, you might want to prepare yourself for seeing it on the big screen!

The movie, set for release late next year, starts shooting in three months. But before the cast arrives, the writers have to make sure baby Renesmee’s onscreen arrival is just right. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is currently fine-tuning the gory scene with the film’s producers. "We’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book," she tells E! Online.

Does that mean scaredy cats should skip the movie entirely? Rosenberg says not to worry. "I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show," she says. "It’s on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."

If nothing else, you can always cover your eyes!
