Move over, Lauren Conrad! There's a new fresh face in town. The former star of The Hills, whose contract with the company has expired, will be replaced by Twilight star Ashley Greene as the new spokesperson for Mark cosmetics.
"Ashley has a natural beauty, but I love that she experiments with fashion," says Claudia Poccia, the global president of Mark, a division of Avon. "She mixes it up and makes it her own.”
Equally as excited about her new gig, Greene said the message behind the makeup was what has made her new endorsement even more fulfilling. The company’s m.powerment fund helps raise awareness to end the cycle of dating abuse and violence.
“Initially, I was drawn to mark because of the products," the 23-year-old actress said. "But what really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.”
Greene's campaigns for Mark are expected to appear in magazines and on TV later this year.
