In the last Twilight film, Robert Pattinson's character became a father, but in real life, it's fellow Cullen family vampire star Jackson Rathbone who's expecting. The first-time father to be isn't nervous about his new arrival, though.
"One of the greatest thing I could expect to be in life is a father," the actor, 27, told Us Weekly at the premiere of his new thriller Gone. "I'm very excited!"
Rathbone, who is also a guitarist with the rock band 100 Monkeys, and his girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi, a burlesque dancer, announced their pregnancy earlier this month. Hafsadi is already five months along, and the baby is due in June. But Rathbone is ready for fatherhood, in part thanks to his own.
"I have one of the greatest dads in the world," he gushed. "He's just been giving me amazing advice."
So what's Mr. Rathbone's best tip so far? "Be prepared for lots of poop!" the Gone star joked.
Rathbone plans to spend his last poop-free months pampering his 24-year-old better half in order to keep her and her growing baby bump comfortable during her last trimester.
"I believe everything and anything that she wants is the best thing!" he said. "And yes is always the right answer -- that's what my mom taught me!"
