Two of Jon and Kate Gosselin's kids, Collin and Alexis Gosselin, both 6, have been expelled from school, according to People.
An unnamed source revealed that the pint-sized stars of TLC's Kate Plus Eight are now being homeschooled as a result of getting the boot from their Pennsylvania private school.
Fans of the family's reality show have seen all of the kids act out before (as all kids do), but what exactly did they do to get expelled? Various tabloids have reported that the siblings have "rage issues," with People even noting that there have been rumors of the two bullying and acting violently towards their classmates.
Still, the source assures the magazine that it's not that bad. "The situation is being grossly overstated," the source states. "The kids are going through a challenging time, but Kate doesn't feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter."
Even Kate herself has acknowledged that her brood (in addition to Alexis and Collin, there are 6-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Joel, Aaden and 10-year-old twins Cara and Mady) have had a hard time with their parent's divorce. Still, the reality mom, 35, called them, "amazing, resilient, loving kids."
Kate's ex-husband, Jon, 33, however, seems to feels that the damage has already been done. "My children have experienced a lot of life changes in a short period of time; new home, new school, parents divorced, increased media attention, and much more," he tweeted in October. "Obviously it would be short-sighted to declare that all of their current struggles are attributed to one factor. These multiple changes are exactly why I feel they need privacy, stability, and security."
Though TLC declined to comment on the reported expulsion of the two Gosselin children, they did confirm that the topic will not be part of the next Kate Plus 8 special, airing Nov. 28.
