Tyson Chicken Tenderloins Recalled

According to the Food Poisoning Bulletin, Tyson Foods Inc. has recalled about 127,000 pounds of uncooked breaded chicken tenderloins and uncooked chicken tenderloin fritter products that contain soy, an allergen that is not declared on the label. So far, there have been no reports of illness associated with the consumption of these products.

Of the recalled foods, there are 20-pound packages of “SPARE TIME Uncooked Chicken Tenderloin Fritters” with the establishment number “P-5839″ inside the USDA mark of inspection and a case code of “7083861,”as well as 10-pound packages of “Tyson UNCOOKED BREADED CHICKEN TENDERLOINS” with the establishment number “P-5839″ inside the USDA mark of inspection and a case code of “7083928″. The products were produced between March 1, 2013 and March 27, 2013 and were shipped to food service companies nationwide for further distribution.
