This week, the mystery of what happened to Alexis is solved- she is suffering from "partial retrograde amnesia". At the hospital, we see Alexis still mildly surprised by her womanly developments. Apparently, she knows nothing about her parents getting divorced, and mom going behind bars, and her escape for that matter.
Alexis demands an explanation from Daniel when she gets a hint from a news update about her mother Claire escaping jail. Bradford begins rekindling his relationship with Alex/Alexis by pretending he was okay with her sex change operation, as a way to rewrite his past with his estranged child. Upset at his lies, Daniel tries to tell the truth to Alexis with a little trouble of his own when she wonders how they got into the accident. A deer was replaced as the main culprit rather than his drug habit- smooth move Daniel.
Mode’s new elf, Justin, is about to begin his first day and we are given confirmation that Santos is really gone as Hilda organizes belongings from his old apartment (*cries a little bit inside*). Wil has hired bulky new bodyguard, Dwayne to protect her from Claire. Betty tries to get the book for Daniel to sign off to no avail, and resorts to stealing Wil’s house key…just as Henry appears at the door of Mode!!
Henry is back at Mode to work not for Betty, but because Meade covers all the medical insurance for his future baby (who knows if it’s even really his!). He comes back and wonders if it’s okay with Betty they are working in the same office- of course, they can be “buddies”…. NOT.
No word yet on whether Bradford is Amanda’s father. Amanda is left with no money or estate from Fey, only a dog whose descent could probably be traced back to rats. Disgusted, Amanda agrees to take care of the thing with a $1000 week allowance as promised by Fey.
Christina and Betty are now in the devil’s lair, and to their surprise, Wil suddenly appears home with Dwayne…and takes it to the bed for some “afternoon delight”. Betty and Christina manage to successfully escape when Wil needs some “protection” from Dwayne in the shower. But when Wil finds an earring with “Buenos” written on it, Betty is in trouble…
Wil confronts Betty on…wait for it...THE ROOF. She offers Betty an alternative- if Betty keeps quiet about Wil’s afternoon delight, she can get Ignacio the visa he desperately needs with hookups from her dad- the U.S senator. Little does she know, Pops is arranging another way to get across the border himself, without a visa…
What will Betty do?
At Mode, the preparation for Shakira’s photo shoot continues as Marc freaks out to all the interns about bendy straws. Justin aces his task and gets the responsibility of finding guava juice, chocolate almond milk and the scully foods 100% organic all natural soy rice cakes.
As a reward for his great work, Justin gets an all access pass to the Shakira photo shoot. When he gets a little nostalgic about Santos not being around, we see that Marc actually has feelings and cheers him up. It was a sweet moment for about two seconds.
It appears that Bradford didn’t tell Alexis about his wedding to Wil. Instead, he decides to postpone the wedding for some more bonding time with his daughter. The devil is pissed- the last we see of her, she’s smashing mannequins up on the roof.
As Ignacio calls to tell Betty his decision, Betty reconsiders Wil’s offer…
Betty is guilt tripped into not telling Daniel about Wil’s affair in exchange for her father’s freedom.
A clueless Henry approaches Christina and questions why Betty is mad at him. Typical of guys isn’t it? Christina breaks the news to Henry that the baby’s papa could pretty much be any man on the planet.
A mystery man appears at Ignacio’s door and points a gun to him! At the Suarez home, another man appears at the door- Henry. Tipsy from a beer, Henry fesses his love for Betty, saying that Charlie is no longer a reason for them not being together. Henry goes in for the kill…
