U of M's Amplatz Children's Hospital Just Gave "Brave" a New Meaning

And their awesomeness is infectious -- maybe even more so than the song

The patients and staff members of the University of Minnesota’s Amplatz Children’s Hospital just took Sara Bareilles’s radio hit up a notch. “Brave,” taken from her forth studio album, The Blessed Unrest (2013), was written as a reaction against the adversity her friend faced when coming out -- which makes sense why the patients and staff members of Unit 5, who face a different kind of adversity every day, felt  a connection to the song.

The video is a playfully choreographed celebration of strength and hope as these sick children and their caretakers smile, laugh and dance despite their struggles. Their bravery is infectious -- maybe even more so than the song. Stay brave!
