Expert Review: UPPAbaby's newest release, the CRUZ, comes with a full-size seat, canopy and underseat basket with a fast, compact, one-step fold. The reversible seat comes in four color options and includes an easy, one-handed recline, ample seat padding and is infant-suitable with UPPA's SnugSeat accessory to add extra head support. The canopy has a large, mesh peekaboo window, is adjustable for taller tots and provides good coverage with its SPF 50+ extension. Our favorite feature is the large underseat basket that has easy accessibility and two storage pockets for keeping your water bottle or wallet from getting buried. An extension handlebar, independent shocks and puncture-free, foam core rubber wheels keep the ride smooth and comfortable for both parent and child.

What We Love: simple assembly; reversible seat; large underseat basket; big canopy with extension; one-step fold; lots of optional accessories to choose from; included rain shield and bug shield

What We Wish It Had: included cup holder or parent tray; ability to fold with the seat facing either direction

Great For: parents of different heights; sidewalks, stores, grass or gravel; sun protection; lots of underseat storage; all-day adventures

Bottom Line: A full-size canopy, reversible seat and large basket plus smooth maneuvering and a one-step fold.

Parent Rating:

"The seat recline is very easy to adjust -- with just one click it moves back easily. However, the seat does not fully recline for a newborn."[Note: UPPAbaby's SnugSeat accessory allows the seat to be used with a newborn.]

"The underseat storage is ample and very easy to access. The only downside is the it is fully exposed so in bad weather, the items you store at the bottom would be exposed to the rain or snow."

"I love that the canopy has UV protection to block my child from the sun's harmful rays! I also like that the straps are very easy to adjust as my child grows and the seat was very comfortable for him!"

"The one-click seat removal, brake and quick fold features were all great! I found it to be much easier to handle and collapse than other strollers I've used."

"The stroller maneuvers very well and turns smoothly. It's great for city living where the aisles and doorways are frequently narrow. While I prefer to use two hands on it, you can easily push it with one."
