If there's one thing that truly bugs us, it's the double standard that often applies when it comes to breasts: If there's a pair peeking out of a sheer tank on a billboard selling cars or soap, most people are fine with it. Put a mom discreetly feeding her baby under a scarf at the mall and everyone freaks out.
So we're not sure what to make of this image from a 2010 issue of V Magazine that we saw on Babble. On the one hand, the topless hot chick blowing a bubble in short shorts and pretending to nurse a baby doll is just the sort of sexualization of breastfeeding that we hate. On the other hand, maybe stunts like this draw attention to the need for greater tolerance for moms nursing in public -- and highlight the irony of the way some Americans view feeding a baby.
