Design a work of art. Cut it into a heart-shaped puzzle. Put the puzzle in a box to give as a present for Valentine's Day. Materials:
• Large piece of cardboard, cut into a heart shape
• Scissors
• Markers
• Paint and brushes
Directions:
1. Make a Valentine's message or picture on one side of a sheet of cardboard. Draw one that reminds you of the person for whom you are making the gift. Color it.
2. Flip the puzzle over.
3. Design a puzzle pattern.
4. Cut out the pattern.
5. See if you can put the puzzle back together.
6. Put the puzzle pieces in a box.
7. Decorate the box with heart stamps, stickers, and red and pink wrap.
