Why we love it: This Advent-style idea builds excitement during the weeks leading up to February 14th, which is especially fun for kids. Adding little notes or secret messages to the inside of each daily envelope stretches out the February 14 lovefest.
What you need: 20’ x 20’ frame; pink felt; fabric; burlap; twine; Beacon Fabri-Tac glue; lime mini clothespins; white mini envelopes; and a small tipped Sharpie
How to make it: Write out “Valentine’s Day” and stitch it on some pink felt. Then layer fabric, felt and burlap. Use small tipped Sharpie to write dates on the envelopes. Add love notes or special messages to the inside of the envelopes and attach them to the fabric.
