Cupcake Caterpillar
This cupcake arrangement does double duty (don't you just love that!) as a dessert and a clever centerpiece. You can bake (or buy) green frosted cupcakes and arrange in the wooly-caterpillar shape. That blushing face is just a layered white or yellow cake covered in red fondant (red buttercream icing will work too, it just won't look as smooth). Use orange, green and black fondant to create the two antennae, eyes, nose and the bootie feet of the caterpillar. That's it! Impressive looking, but easy.
