Who hasn't thought about taking a risk -- making a personal or professional move -- but let fear, anxiety and so many other of life's pressures hold them back? I've been there too but once I found the courage to take the risk, I never looked back. Never!
Gennifer McKissack -- our IVoice in Phoenix experienced a huge change that wasn't 100 percent her choice, but found herself much happer because of it. She'd been unhappy in her job but afraid to leave it. "It was a high salaried position and I didn't want people to think I was crazy for walking away," she told us. Plus, she also thought her relationship would suffer if she quit. In the end, she ended up losing the job she was so afraid to leave -- and also went through a major breakup, losing the relationship she says she was "trying to protect." Because of these huge changes, she packed up her SUV and headed to Arizona with her young daughter to live with her mother. This major shake-up, Gennifer says, taught her to start living for herself and not let the fear of failure -- and even the fear of success -- hold her back.
