Meet Chuckesmee, the Incredibly Terrifying Doll That Would Have Ruined the Final 'Twilight' Film

Edward and Bella's daughter Renesmee was almost a really, really frightening doll

Before the adorable Mackenzie Foy took on the role of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen's (Robert Pattinson) daughter Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the role was cast to the absolutely terrifying Chuckesmee.

Who is Chuckesmee, you ask? She is the creepiest animatronic doll you will ever meet. (She is named after the devilish Chucky doll, after all.)

In an exclusive clip from the Twilight Blu-Ray/DVD collection, fans get to meet the doll. Producers wanted the child to be intelligent, mature and look like a baby. That's when the 60-pound nightmare was created. Thankfully, producers found the doll too horrifying, and nixed the toddler. Whew!

"So we ended up pulling the thing out on the day and shooting it," said producer Wyck Godfrey. "The second you're holding it up, you realize this is never going to work. No fake thing is ever going to do the trick. If you're Bella, you're looking at it going, 'I don't want that thing. Put it back!'"

Watch the video below -- and let the nightmares begin!
