Jake Pavelka may be dancing with the stars -- but his fiancee Vienna Girardi is interviewing them! The woman who won Pavelka's heart in The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love will appear on Extra tonight as a guest reporter. What will she be covering? Why, the backstage goings-on at DWTS, of course!
Girardi announced her new job on Twitter yesterday, saying, "My first interview is with DWTS tonight!" If Girardi manages to turn this interview into a recurring gig, she'll be following in the footsteps of a few other former reality-show contestants who became media darlings: Elisabeth Hasselbeck turned her Survivor stint into a full-time job next to Barbara Walters on The View. And former Bachelor contestant Melissa Rycroft (dumped by Jason Mesnick on national TV) scored a gig as an Entertainment Tonight correspondent.
Meanwhile, the bachelorette we loved to hate this year is still being stalked by scandal. RadarOnline.com reported on Monday that Girardi's previous boyfriend was a notorious drug lord who was recently arrested in a major Florida narcotics bust -- and that she dated the dealer right up until The Bachelor began shooting. But hey, you can't deny that she's moving up in the world; "Extra correspondent" looks much better on a resume than "Hooters waitress."
