He's worth it!
Hugh Laurie has announced that he is the new "ambassador" for L'Oreal Paris' Men Expert line of cosmetics. Following in the footsteps of hot actors like Gerard Butler and Patrick Dempsey, the House star has signed on to endorse the line of male beauty products.
"At first I thought it was a mistake," the 51-year-old actor said, "But then I realized that L'Oréal wasn't looking for models, but real people with strong personalities, who are worth it ... and who aren't afraid to proclaim that using cosmetics can be a very masculine decision after all."
According to L'Oreal's global brand president, Cyril Chapuy, Laurie was the obvious choice for the spokesman position as he is "the perfect example of a modern man: genuine, uninhibited, strong and willing to pursue his passions to the end."
