Is Jessica Biel's brother feuding with her on-again boyfriend Justin Timberlake? It sure looks that way in a bizarre new video posted to Justin Biel's Facebook page. Watch below to see Justin, a former employee of Timberlake's 901 Tequila company, blast his boss for not promoting the brand. (Warning: strong language.)
In the four-and-a-half minute video, Jessica's brother -- who, according to TMZ, worked at the company up until a few weeks ago -- bemoans the drop in tequila sales, which he blames in part on 901's most famous investor.
"I've been waiting for [Timberlake] to do something with this f***ing brand -- make a song about it, put it in a g**damn video, hold it up, take some pictures, I don't care," rants Biel. "Just do something because we're dying on the motherf***ing vine here!"
Biel then threatens to take matters into his own hands, using his "D-list celebrity status" to get the word out by starting a rap group, making a sex tape, or "beating people publicly with bottles." He also suggests some sarcastic new slogans for the brand, like "901 Tequila: Tastes like vodka!" and "901 Tequila: So g**damn exclusive, our own CEO doesn't even drink it." The video ends with him breaking down into fake tears.
So, um, what was that? According to a 901 Tequila rep, the video was recorded as part of a hoax-y viral marketing campaign.
"Justin Biel's video was intended to be one in a series of videos created by 901 Tequila employees (including the brand owner) as part of a larger viral marketing campaign slated for the end of December," the rep tells Us Weekly. "It was released prematurely without our knowledge and prior to the final edit."
And though many are still wondering if the video is a bitter ex-employee's last word, an Us Weekly source swears that Justin Biel left the company on "good terms." We hope so -- because otherwise, the Biels are in for a very awkward Christmas dinner.
