WATCH: Madonna Sends Son Rocco to Ellen De Generes' Dunk Tank

The 12-year-old -- who described his Material Mom as "strict" -- made a splash on The Ellen DeGeneres Show all in the name of charity

And the Mother of the Year award goes to... Madonna!

While visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her ongoing MDNA Tour, Madonna offered to volunteer for Ellen DeGeneres' dunk tank to hopefully cause $10,000 to be donated for breast cancer research. But instead of going in the tank herself like, say, Liam Neeson did, Madge put her 12-year-old son Rocco up for the honor.

"I don't really have to think about it," Madonna tells DeGeneres when the talk show host asked if she had someone she wanted to put in the tank. "My son is here and I want him in that tank now." Watch here:

Rocco has been on tour with his 54-year-old mother, even dancing in her show. DeGeneres, who was rocking a matching cone corset like the Material Girl herself, asks him if Madonna is a strict mother, and he answers in the blunt, honest way only 12-year-olds can pull off.

"Yeah, she's a good mother, but yeah. She's a good mother, yes," he says, while Madonna laughs behind him. "She's very strict."

As Rocco climbed in the tank, Madonna suddenly had regrets about what she decided to do. Not because she was going to soak her son on national television, of course, but because she's really bad at throwing things.

"Come on, you were in A League of Their Own, you can throw a baseball," DeGeneres quips.

That didn't stop Madonna from calling to Rocco, "You might never get wet, baby."

Eventually it was DeGeneres who knocked the water down on the poor celebrity child. Madonna cackled in glee while Rocco looked resigned to his fate, but at least $10,000 got donated to a good cause and we got to see Ellen DeGeneres wear Madonna's iconic breast cones. And, he's twelve -- he probably had an awesome time!
