The recently released Pineapple Express DVD is all it's cracked up to be and more, folks. It's funny, packed with goodies, and so very educational. Here, we share the knowledge, with five things the DVD taught us (we're talking about the two-disc set or the Blu-ray, by the way; you won't learn nearly as much from the cheap, lame edition).
1. Your pot dealer is also your best friend. No, really. Did you think he was just some loser you met up with weekly (or daily; who are we to judge?) to get your fix? Turns out he's so much more than that. Just look at how loyal James Franco's dealer is to Seth Rogen's pothead in this movie. I mean, they get the crap beaten out of them on behalf of one another. Lots of friends you've had your whole life who have never sold you drugs probably wouldn't be willing to do that for you. They don't even know each other or care about each other when the movie starts, but by the end they're practically tattooing each other's names on their backs, all tramp-stamp style. Because if there's one thing this movie teaches us about pot dealers, it's that they're loyal, best-friend material.
