Keep it Personal

The absolute last thing you want to be accused of is throwing a generic shower. (The horror!) “It’s most important to personalize the shower to whoever the bride is,” says Kimberly Kennedy, lifestyle expert and author of The Art and Craft of Entertaining. “Keep your guest of honor in mind and that will make it extra special to her.” Does the bride love biking? Is she a coffee fanatic? Is she possibly more in love with her cat than her fiancé? Take that unique interest and spin your shower theme off from there. Then the bride (and all the guests) will feel like it’s a party customized just for her.
