One of my favorite weekend looks is simply putting on an oversize sweater, a pair of jeggings and really tall boots. For some reason, the simple act of slipping on footwear that hits somewhere over the knee makes any outfit look instantly more pulled together.
The problem? Boots are expensive! Especially tall ones. But when I was checking out the shoe selection at Ruche I found a ton of really cute tall boot options, and all for under $100. They have ones in suede and pairs with easy-to-walk-in heels, but my absolute top pick would have to be these Let's Take A Ride Knee High Boots ($52.99 at Ruche). They have cute buckles, come in a gorgeous cognac color, and even have a treaded sole so you don't need to worry about slipping when things get a bit icy. All in all, perfection.
