They say you are what you eat, so what does your sandwich preference say about your personality? In a study commissioned by Hellmann's Mayonnaise and conducted by the Smell & Taste Treatment & Research Foundation, about 3,000 people were asked to select their favorite sandwich and then take a series of personality tests. We spoke with foundation founder Dr. Alan Hirsch to help break down the results and decode just what your favorite sandwich says about you.

People who prefer club sandwiches "tend to be very loyal; they value friendship to the highest degree," says Dr. Hirsch. They're agreeable, unselfish and are strongly committed to work and relationships.
