What Will You Feed Baby on Thanksgiving? Steal These Ideas!

One of the best parts of celebrating Thanksgiving with a baby? If he's started solids, he can probably enjoy most of what the rest of the family is eating -- sweet potatoes, turkey, pumpkin, green beans, squash and apples are all baby-friendly fare. Looking for ideas for what mashed-up foods baby might enjoy? These iVillage community members predict what their babes will devour on Thursday:

"I think on Thanksgiving, we will try some sweet potato because it's festive." -- Connor's mom

"Lily's already had stuffing, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes... she'll get to try cranberries, though." -- Lily's mom

"We had a mini Turkey Day dinner about a week ago, and he ate it all -- loved the pumpkin casserole the best." -- Aronne's mom

"I'll give Brooke a little taste of everything. She'll probably have mashed potatoes for the first time and pumpkin pie. Yum!" -- Brooke's mom

"Last year, Piper was 5 months at Thanksgiving, so she ate smooshed-up sweet potatoes, some Jello salad, and mashed potatoes (no gravy). Pumpkin pie worked nicely with some gumming -- she thought that was pretty darn cool." -- Piper's mom
