Readers, I've been challenged. A fellow iVillage editor has asked me to stop (gulp) shopping. I was a little hesitant. I've been a super-shopper for over 15 years. Is this even possible?

I agreed to the mission in an effort to encourage others to save during these tough economic times. Although style is my life—and, in fact, my work—I, too, can make the sacrifice in the name of research, your amusement and my financial future.
