What Should Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen Name Their New Baby?

Confessions of a Shopaholic actor Isla Fisher and her hubby, funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen, are expecting their second child together. Their adorable daughter Olive, 2 ½, is getting ready to be a big sister – mom even got her a book on the subject! We don’t know if the newest addition will be a boy or a girl, but we got to wondering what names would go well with Olive.

Because mom has an unusual name (Isla, pronounced “eye-la”, which is Scottish) we’re guessing this baby will won’t be an Emma or a Jacob. Olive’s name means olive tree or olive branch, which is a symbol of peace.

If it’s a girl, Salome would be a great choice. The name, which also means peace, is of Hebrew origin (Isla converted to Judaism for Sacha). For a boy, Absalom, which means father of peace, would be a unique choice. Another great option that would work for either a boy or a girl is Shalom, the Hebrew word for peace.

If the Fisher-Cohens decide to keep up the nature theme with their name choices, we think Sage, Ivy or Eden would be fantastic girl names while River, Elan (tree in Hebrew) or Dylan (of the sea) would all be super-cute for a boy.
