I usually don't associate L.L. Bean with the word "cute." Rugged, outdoorsy, plaid, sure. But girlie and sweet, not so much. Until now.
L.L.Bean Signature is a relatively new collection from the brand. The line maintains the company's laid-back New England vibe, but with an updated fit and modern take. And, of course, there's still some plaid thrown into the mix. Plus, this summer's new looks include lots of fresh, totally on-trend dresses we can't wait to wear!
So even if you're not off to Nantucket for July 4th, you can still pretend in the Striped Seersucker Dress. Bonus: The adjustable shoulder straps are removable, so you'll get more bang for your buck ($99). Or slip on the Silk Habutai Dress, with its oversized pattern -- perfect for a weekend outing or casual Fridays at the office ($225).
And I immediately added The Rayon Sundress in pale blue to my must-get list. The easy, breezy frock with ruched bodice will become my go-to outfit in the warmer weather ($129).
