Hey, Mom, get off Twitter and change me! A new product (or a very clever marketing gag) from Huggies lets parents know when their baby has gone #1, and needs to be changed, according to CNET. TweetPee apparently has a plastic birdie attachment that you stick on your baby's diaper, and it sends a Twitter alert when there's an increase in humidity. It also keeps track of, um, output (important in the first weeks of life) and lets you know when you need more diapers, which you can order online from the app (natch).
We're a little skeptical since we can't find where you download it -- and just fyi, that little "humidity birdie" is probably a bigtime choking hazard. Plus the app's only available in Portuguese. So we'll keep using the old-fashioned pull-back and smell method for now, but we'll look forward to this and the Poop Alert App and Is It a Smile or Just Gas? Monitor that is no doubt in development as we speak.
