Running Wild

When you let your puppy out, he runs all over the house.

Solution: The normal response of any puppy after being let out of a confined space is to jump and run around all over the place. It is a release of his pent-up energy, and he is simply happy and very excited to be set loose. The way to prevent him from creating damage is to limit the space he has to run around in. Never give him the run of the house. Even when you release him from a small area, he should be restricted to a larger area where he has a limited amount of space in which to let out his energy.
