The White House is going to the dogs this holiday season. Well to one dog in particular: the First Family pet, Bo, whose likeness has inspired an assortment of seasonal statues scattered around 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Made from unconventional materials like licorice and trash bags, five different types of figurines were created by the Presidential decorating team. The largest, comprised of dozens of felt swatches, stands an impressive four and half feet tall.
Get ready to DIY! The video shows how the littlest Bo decoration was made using nothing more than chicken wire, masking tape, a glue gun and few handfuls of buttons.
