Whitney Port Shares Her Celeb-Designer Crushes

With an endless roster of new stars rolling out clothing lines, it can be a tad overwhelming trying to figure out which are actually worth checking out. So who better than reality TV alum and professional fashionista Whitney Port (whose own Whitney Eve launched all the way back in 2008) to share her favorite celeb labels? “I like Mary-Kate and Ashley’s lines, The Row, and Elizabeth and James, and I think that Alexa Chung for Madewell is really good as well,” she told us while campaigning as spokesperson for Crest 3D White 2 Hour Express Whitestrips.

What exactly sets Chung and the Olsen sisters’ labels apart from the crowd? Rather than just following fads, these celeb lines put fashion first, says Whitney. "[They] have such a distinct style aesthetic. They’re actually made really well and their trend is forward thinking.”

The designer, however, doesn’t just give lip-service to her favorite star labels. This season she’s been spotted everywhere in one very distinctive look: “a really cute blazer from Elizabeth and James.”
