It was Michael Stagliano and Holly Durst against Michelle Money and Graham Bunn on last night's season finale of the Bachelor Pad. So, which couple took home the cash prize?
The winners were chosen by a popularity contest, as their former fellow contestants voted for their favorite couple. And, in the end, it was the sweet-natured Holly and Michael who scored the most votes.
The formerly engaged couple was then presented with a decision. Each could choose to share the money, or they could choose to keep it all for themselves. If they both chose to share, they'd split it evenly. If one person chose keep and the other chose share, the selfish one would get it all. But if they both chose keep, they'd walk away with nothing.
Not surprisingly, they both chose share and celebrated their cash prize with a little dance.
But it was a bittersweet win for the on-again, off-again couple. Michael, 27, had rough road throughout the season, as he realized Holly, his ex-fiancee whom he was still in love with, was falling for another contestant. And on the finale, it was revealed that not only are Holly, 28, and Blake Julian now a couple -- they're recently engaged!
"I'm sorry, that's super awkward," Michael said, who found out the news on camera. "I'm sorry. I'm shocked still -- so maybe a water would be great, or a commercial break. Seriously, congratulations, I'm sorry. But really, here? This is where I find out?"
As he gave his final speech before deciding to share the money, Michael explained why he was choosing to "share," even though he looked heartbroken.
"Holly and I, before the show, talked about being partners the whole way through and about this very moment and splitting the money," he said. "Uh... and getting here and finding out that she is engaged, and um, that that wasn't told to me beforehand, hurt a lot. Again."
Holly will most likely use the cash to spend on her impending nuptials with Blake, but is $125,000 enough of a consolation prize for the jilted Michael?
