That smug laugh. That ridiculous cheesy grin. Deep down, we all know former Bachelor Jake Pavelka is the embodiment of all things fake, and FINALLY someone (other than Vienna Girardi) is calling him out on it! Jake stopped by The View on Aug. 4 and co-host Whoopi Goldberg ripped him a new one. "Darling, I’m afraid to tell you, but you’re full of garbage," Whoopi told Jake point-blank after he tried to deny being an actor. "The person that you seem to be right now does seem like a person that would be on The Bachelor."
Her accusation came right after the ladies of The View aired a clip of Jake from a 1999 episode of Walker, Texas Ranger. They also aired a clip from Jake’s upcoming appearance on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva in which he plays — wait for it — a reality dating star who defends himself against accusations of — wait for it — choosing a contestant and then dumping her in order to further his career and raise his profile.
But that’s not even the most ridiculous part! Jake actually expects us to believe the role wasn’t created specifically for him: "I wasn’t given that role," he told the co-hosts. "I had to audition for it."
Jake also spent his time on the ladies’ couch fighting off various rumors about him, the biggest of which being that he could be gay. "No!" he answered. "Heck no, I’m not. You know what? One of my best friends is gay, but I don’t see how anyone could look at [co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck] and not be completely attracted."
OK, I’m not even going to touch THAT rumor (I’ll leave it up to you all to decide), but I just want to thank Whoopi again for finally telling Jake exactly what we’ve been thinking all along: He’s fake, he’s a liar and he’s not fooling anyone.
Now, don’t get me wrong — I’m not saying that Vienna isn’t also a total faker. I just think Jake’s a better actor!
