Clearly 24-year-old Megan Fox is old enough to be a leading actress and an international sex symbol. But one thing some say she is too young to be? A wife.
"When I talk about my husband, I feel as if people roll their eyes," the actress says in the October issue of Elle, of her new marriage to Brian Austin Green, 36.
"It's like when you're 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says, 'Do you think I'm stupid?'" she jokes. "They can't grasp that I'm old enough to be married."
Fox and Green tied the knot in a secret Hawaiian ceremony in June, after almost six years of dating.
The actress is one of the 25 women under 25 who are being profiled in Elle's 25th anniversay issue. There will be four covers in total for the month of October, with the three others featuring Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried, former Hills girl Lauren Conrad, and Precious actress Gabourey Sidibe.

Sidibe, on celebrating her 25th birthday: "Part of me thought it would be weird if people knew I was a grown-up playing a teenager in Precious. So I had a 21st birthday party. We had drinks and went to a strip club called Shotgun Willie’s."
