There's nothing fun about getting divorced. But two time Oscar-winner Hilary Swank is able to put a positive spin on her split from ex-husband Chad Lowe.
"A lot of people look at divorce as a failure. I really look at my relationship with Chad as 14 years of success," Swank says in the September issue of InStyle. "I will carry him in my heart forever. He's a part of me."
Swank and Lowe separated in January 2006, but Swank, 36, has has once again found love. The actress (whose next project, the real-life legal drama Conviction, is due in theaters this fall) has been dating her agent John Campisi for nearly four years now, and she says she believes in monogamous relationships. So will the two be walking down the aisle any time soon?
"I believe in the sanctity of marriage," Swank says. "John and I, you know, we were both in long marriages and it's not something that we need to rush back into."
Swank also revealed that she's been thinking about becoming a mom since she was young, but she's still planning to wait until "the time is right." (Sounds a lot like what Beyonce just told a UK magazine!) In the meantime, Swank is getting practice while spending quality time with Campisi's young son, Sam.
