Will the GOP Ever Stop Mocking Hillary Clinton's Looks?

What's a girl got to do to get a little respect?

Apparently nothing Hillary Clinton does will ever stop the juvenile, frat boy criticisms of her appearance. Not a run for the White House. Or a seat in the U.S. Senate. Or her amazing stint as secretary of state. Or through the roof approval ratings. Or even a turn with the cool kids and Tumblr.

One moment without makeup or a stylist and the conservative right pounces, mocking the "Hillary Au Naturale" look.

I have to hand it to Hillary. She's able to laugh this stuff off, saying she's just not that concerned about what people say about her glasses or make-up free appearance at this stage of her life.

But in all seriousness, if bringing up the worn Hillary-looks-old-and-tired remark is the best that conservatives can do for news when they ought be paying attention to their man who wants to unseat President Obama, then liberals ought to have a celebratory drink or two.

As far as I'm concerned, a woman of Hillary Clinton's age and accomplishments deserves a day now and then when lip gloss and Tina Fey glasses equal "make-up." Her critics who think that it's all sorts of good fun to channel their inner mean girls when it comes to the secretary of state's appearance should remember she's now pals with Tyra Banks. And they don't want Tyra losing her temper!
