Will Neil Patrick Harris Host the Tony Awards for a Second Time?

Reports say that the talented NPH will, once again, take the reigns on Broadway's big night

Now that the Tony Award nominations have been announced, it's time for the show's producers to choose a host for the big event. And who's better for the job than Neil Patrick Harris, who did an amazing job at the podium when he hosted two years ago.

Deadline.com reported Wednesday said that the How I Met Your Mother star, 37, has been asked to take the reigns of the award show once again. And there's no doubt that Harris (who also nailed his gig as Emmys host in 2009) has the talent, charisma and charm to keep the Broadway audience entertained and amused.

NPH hasn't actually confirmed the news, but friends of the new dad are already sending their support to their pal.

'Congrats to @ActuallyNPH for returning as host of the 2011 Tony Awards," Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson twittered Wednesday. "He was brilliant a few years ago and will be brilliant again."

The 65th annual Tony Awards will take place on June 12 at New York's Beacon Theater.
