Will Paul Giamatti Replace Sean Penn in Stooges Flick?

Can Paul Giamatti be as dumb as Sean Penn?
The actor's name is being thrown around to take over the role of Larry in the new Three Stooges movie, now that Sean Penn has dropped out to spend more time with his family.
According to E! Online, both Paul and the film's directors, The Farrelly Brothers, were at the Nantucket Film Festival, when a reporter from the Boston Herald suggested Paul replace Sean.
Bobby Farrelly told the newspaper that he thought Paul would be a "sensational Larry," while his bro admitted that they have already approached someone else about the role.
Whoever does score the part will be joining the impressive team of Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey, who are already on board to play Moe and Curly.
