Adorable Baby Shower Idea: Winter Owls!

One surefire way to make winter guests feel warm and cozy at your fete? Throw an adorable winter owl-themed baby shower. The sweet woodland creature and nursery décor staple works whether mama-to-be is having a boy or girl.

Owl Friends and Glitter Branches
Every baby shower needs a healthy dose of cute, and these wide-eyed felt critters do just that!

What You’ll Need:
- 43 Styrofoam balls
- 25mm googly eyes
- felt sheets (three colors of your choice plus brown)
- hot glue gun and glue
- printable owl templates
- 12” grapewood branch
- artificial snowflakes
- Mod Podge glitter

How to make it:
For the owl friends: Follow the step-by-step DIY tutorial found here. For the branch: Apply Mod Podge glitter glue to a few different areas of the branch. Pour fake snowflakes onto the wet glue. Let dry completely, then gently shake the branch to remove any remaining loose snow.

Tip: Enlarge the printable owl template in the tutorial and use a 6” Styrofoam ball to create a larger “mom” owl to sit alongside the smaller baby version!
