Don't let anyone tell you differently -- having two babies at once is very different than having just one. And no, it's not twice as hard! Here, experts and moms dish about life with multiples – from ways to make it cheaper (sign up for discounts on diapers) to the stuff you might not expect (they probably won’t throw tantrums at the same time!).

Get Them on the Same Schedule – Stat

If your babies leave the hospital on a feeding and sleeping schedule, try to maintain it once you’re home. That means if one wakes up to eat, rouse the other one and feed him at the same time. Naptimes should also be in sync if possible. Don't expect the schedule to stick right away, but keep at it. “Otherwise, you’ll be up 24 hours a day,” says Amy Shoaff, mom of three-and-a-half-year-old twins.
