As if morning rush hour traffic in New York City isn't stressful enough -- try giving birth at 7 a.m. in the Holland Tunnel. That's exactly what happened to Soukaina Nekhlaoui on December 26 while on her way to a Manhattan hospital. The father, Abdel Elkarha, called 911 and Port Authority partners George McCann and Jean Bernard rushed to help. Though baby Nassim Mohammed Elkarhat was born blue, Bernard created a makeshift "oxygen tank" to protect him from car fumes in the tunnel. As of Wednesday night, mom and baby are doing fine in a Brooklyn hospital -- and were given Holland Tunnel baseball caps from McCann and Bernard.
