Out of Max and Ruby’s 40 episodes, the bunnies’ parents appear in exactly none of them. There’s never even a mention of them -- even when Ruby wants to take the city bus to a playdate. The seven-year-old bunny essentially does everything for herself and her three-year-old brother, Max. She feeds, clothes, bathes and disciplines him -- she even turns on the oven by herself!
