“Studies show that people are 80 percent more likely to follow their meal plan if they write it down,” says Nicole Kuhl, a nutritionist at Lifespan Medicine in Santa Monica, Calif. “Take five minutes in the morning to write down what you'll eat for the day to make sure you stay within your calorie limits.”
