Writers' Strike Almost Over!
Yeah, baby. Us TV freaks may just have to start the celebration now, as Disney's former chief exec, Michael Eisner, has told CNBC that the writers have reached a deal with the major media companies, which would end the strike.
"It's over," Mikey said. "They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general."
Yes, there is a slight possibility that the writers could still reject the deal, but they wouldn't do that to us, would they? Not according to Mike -- he sounds pretty sure it's a done deal.
"A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon. I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."
