On Aug. 18, Judd and Moser, who married in June, went for a motorcycle ride on their separate bikes before a scheduled concert in Deadwood, S.D. But the newlyweds' ride was cut short when Moser's motorcycle was in a collision with an oncoming vehicle. According to the Rapid City Journal, Moser was allegedly speeding and veered across a South Dakota highway's center divider and into oncoming traffic.
After the crash, Moser, 55, was immediately airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital where he was placed in serious condition and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Judd, who had to cancel her Deadwood performance as well as upcoming concert in Canada, was not involved or injured in the collision.
"The show will be rescheduled at a later date," she announced on her Facebook page following the cancellation news.
The country singer expressed her gratitude for the public's support in a statement she released on Sunday.
"The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side," Judd said.
