This Video Gives an X-Ray Vision of Your Body Doing Yoga

A medically-based video set to soothing music gives us a glimpse of how amazing our body appears in motion.

A new video that shows a skeletal figure practicing a few basic yoga positions may sound odd and creepy, but it’s actually pretty moving.

The innovative team at Hybrid Medical Animation, a company that creates “stunning, original, and memorable” medical artwork, developed this video to give us a sense of how our body operates from the inside, from our very core.

“Our goal for this piece was to create a realistic representation of radiological
(x-ray) imaging,” they say on their website. “Instead of just creating a still image, however, we wanted to combine the beautiful moves of yoga with this new visual approach to bring the full human skeleton to life.”

And there’s something so peaceful about watching and listening. See for yourself.

Here are a few recent comments from the website Yogadork.com:

I was moved to tears. Can’t explain it.

This is quite beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Awesome. Something so beautiful about this. I can’t explain either.

It's all about finding a moment of peace…from your bones to your brain. Namaste.
